internal lives, the implications of the singular influence of feelings on our behaviors and how we can use, how feelings can result in us becoming stuck and also how we can influence feelings in such a way that they result in significant behavioral

was the stationary center of the universe and that around us the sun and the stars rotated it was a

geocentric belief that we were the center of the universe because that's how it appeared.

It looked like everything was revolving around us.

Now of course we know that the Earth is just another planet revolving around

just another star and that insight vastly changes the way we perceive ourselves and the importance of human affairs and our relationship with the challenge some of the most basic leaf systems of theistic world views.

So just as it seemed the earth was the center of the universe and the sun revolved around us,

turned out to be a illusion based on just kind of our behavior. are the guiding influence of our behaviors

But of course this view is now completely incompatible with that view is known as the dualist view that somehow conscious mind thought is this kind of disembodied spirit that controls everything but is not yet not in attached or directly correlated to the body. Today we know the mind and body
